The course will cover the three main areas of balance training. These are posture and stability, sensory and vestibular, and gait and motion. In the first class we use 4 kitchen chairs and two cups. Think about your posture when performing these exercises. Next we will use an orange and two spoons to improve our sensory and vestibular system. This class has a lot of gaze exercises to get your brain, vestibular system, and eyes to work together for better balance. The last class is gait and motion training. We will use 4 numbered paper plates for this class. You will need some walking space for this training session. Best to find a path, sidewalk, or grassy area. Ready to start?
